On Friday, June 9, 2023, 4th Pan-Cypriot Statistics Conference took place at the University of Nicosia co-organized by The Cyprus Statistical Society and the University of Nicosia. The conference has as its primary goal the promotion of research and the dissemination of scientific knowledge related to field of Statistics. The conference addressed academics, postgraduate students, researchers as well as business organizations, who are interested in the science of Statistics and its applications in various fields.
UNIC is proud to have 2 of our own students, Andreas Neocleous and Constantia Malekkou, showcase their academic works at the conference.
Andreas Neocleous has presented his work on “Digitization and analysis of data on trends and price patterns of basic consumer goods in Cyprus” and Constantia Malekkou talked about “Service point placement by customer Geolocation Clustering”.
